All I can say is WOW! I have never seen a better emcee than Ken. I've had the opportunity to go to his events but never in a wedding setting. I booked him last minute because all other DJs were with very unreasonable prices and I wasn't sure if he did weddings. Luckily he does and is amazing at it. We met and created a timeline for how he night was going to look like, there were no hiccups on the actual day. It was all ran so smoothly, he got the crowd going, the music was exceptional. I had a mix of Hispanics and white people at my wedding so I thought communicating with everyone would be difficult and boy was I wrong. Everyone at the end was raving as to how good the music and the emcee was. His team played a mix of everything, I don't think there was a single person sitting. Very professional and very polite as well. Would certainly recommend him to anyone!!!

I have known DJ Ken for over three years now. I met him through my kickboxing studio as he DJed majority of the events I attended. As soon as I figured out a date for my wedding, I immediately hit him up to see if he was available. Music was an important aspect to me for my wedding since I planned to dance barefoot majority of the night and I knew he would be amazing and that I wanted no other DJ for my special day. Spoiler alert: I was not disappointed!Mikayla was amazing and professional to deal with during the year of planning. She answered the 100s of questions I threw her way and helped me with scheduling and planning along the way. DJ Ken was also incredibly responsive as I was planning his travel due to my wedding being out of state. Ken was extremely accommodating and understanding as I missed some planning and things did not go according to plan. He was patient and willing to work out the kinks with me, which helped calm my nerves during the wedding planning. He also continually checked in on me throughout the year to make sure I was still sane with all the wedding planning which went above and beyond anything I expected from a wedding vendor.
The day of was pure perfection and words cannot describe how happy I was with my choice of DJ. Ken kept to my schedule and was flexible when things did not go according to my schedule. He not only played my music but also catered to the crowd by playing a few Disney/Kid songs since most people on the dance floor were kids which really meant a lot to us. Ken kept the flow of the wedding going and got the crowd bumping and engaged.
Like I said music was an important part of my wedding to me personally and Ken and Mikayla did not disappoint! If you need a DJ for your wedding, look no further!

I have had several experiences with Amplified Entertainment and each one was fun and entertaining. They have always been known to put on remarkable, high-energy shows; most importantly they have always conducted themselves in a professional manner. My most recent experience with them was for my wedding. If there was one thing that worried me the most, it was the hiring of a DJ and how the music would be handled. I attended several weddings in the past in which the music was handled in a horrible manner. Ken Allen, the owner of Amplified Entertainment, served as the DJ for my wedding personally. He went above and beyond and did a phenomenal job handling the music. Before the wedding I met with him and we went over the specifics of the event. He offered suggestions on how the ceremony should run and came up with contingency plans in case something went wrong. He was very thorough and made sure every detail was covered. My wife and I had very specific requests to have music sync with certain events during the ceremony and he executed them perfectly. He also did a great job handling the music for the reception. I didn't give a big list of songs I wanted played for the reception, but I still felt he captured the moment with the music that was played throughout the night. The mix seemed like it was a custom mix created me and my wife. I didn't feel like my wedding had some generic mix downloaded off the INTERNET that "Push Button iTunes DJ's" use, that have the predictable transitions everyone is used to hearing. The whole event was a great experience. Ken and Amplified Entertainment helped contribute to a memorable life event that I will forever cherish. I highly recommend this company for any event that requires DJ services.
